This policy explains exactly how we handle your data. We built GlobalSnap because we hated paying $1,000+ per language for screenshots — your privacy and ownership are non-negotiable to us.
Your screenshots are 100% private — guaranteed
- Nothing you upload is ever public, searchable, or visible to any other user
- We never use your screenshots or prompts to train any AI model (ours or anyone else’s)
- You own 100% of everything you create
- One-click “Delete everything” permanently erases all your data within 24 hours — we keep zero copies
1. Data we collect
Account data (Name, email, company name, password hash)

We do not target children and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. Data retention & deletion
- Active accounts: we keep your screenshots only while you need them
- “Delete everything” or account closure → permanent deletion within 24 hours
- Billing records kept 7 years only (UK tax law) — no images included
4. Your rights (UK & EU users)
You can at any time:
- Access or download all your data
- Permanently delete everything (one click)
- Object or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)

5. Security
- All data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
- Regular penetration tests and security audits
- Access strictly limited to essential staff
6. International transfers
Whenever data leaves the UK, we use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Cookies
Only strictly necessary cookies (session, authentication). No analytics or advertising cookies without explicit opt-in.

Material changes will be emailed to you at least 30 days in advance.
